Law firms aren't always the most exciting places. The largest challenge for this project was to strategically position the law firm as professional and approachable with a twist of comfort.
ALERT: The boring days of serif fonts for law firms have ended. We worked closely with our brand strategist to bring the selected typography to life. Similar to the law office's personality, we recommended big and bold for specific areas of the design.
Our team landed on a solid set of illustrations through hours of discovery and concepting. Graphically nailing down their four main practice areas proved complimentary to the overall design system.
Reputation matters when prospective clients are looking for legal assistance. One of our primary UX goals was to make this process simple. We fell in love with the current design through an iterative wireframing process. This page includes custom automated v-cards, custom print CSS, and relational practice areas.
Bring your dog to work day, every day. Dogs are an important part of the culture at SF&S, so we highlighted the importance. Throughout the website, dogs carefully connect the culture and comfort of the office environment.
Content is king. To help demonstrate thought leadership, we segmented the company news from staff insights. This allowed a personal flare to the News & Insights section while keeping content fresh to boost SEO efforts. To future-proof usability we also built a complex filtering system to help keep everything nice and tidy.
